DVD Player does not autoplay, cannot play in WMP

Well I am back again with a new issue here. My DVD drive shows up properly in 8.1, however when I insert a dvd, it does not open autoplay. If I right click and select autoplay, nothing happens. When I right click, it also gives me the option to" read using img burn". If I double click the dvd, " application not found". How can I get it, to where a dvd will play properly in WMP? I do have WMP...
