I need to copy a Font in win8

Hi, I have some old software that still runs fine on win8 but with one exception in the way *some* Fonts are being handled. Badly! :) The old software uses "MS Sans Serif" which is not a TrueType font. Up until win7 this was fine as the font displayed well.
