Using file explorer

Hi, This might be a really dumb question / issue to have but in Windows 8 File Explorer, when I put something into the Music file folder it turns up in "my documents" as well. But, in other versions of Windows you can have documents separate from the music section. If I delete the stuff from the documents section they will also be deleted from the music section it was originally stored in. I...
