PC settings problem

Hello Friends, I have a serious problem in my lap. cpould anyone help me out? My problem is "I have been using windows 8 licensed for past 3-4 months and it was working well.Now I uninstalled one windows update (microsoft redistributable x64) and from then on my problem starts. I cant open PC settings screen in my lap now. When I open PC settings screen,it redirects me back to the main metro...
