I have the hibernation option disabled on my laptop (Dell XPS 12), and I've also disabled the rapid start technology that uses hibernation. Even when turning those features off, I noticed there was still an 8 GB hibernation file sitting on my hard drive; upon doing some research, I discovered typing "powercfg -h off" on the command prompt would ensure that file was removed, and it did...
