Can't access C:\ drive and others problems

Hi About 2 months ago I bought a VAIO laptop operating Win8 and it was working fine until I refreshed it (I had done this before and it did not change a thing). When the computer booted after the refresh, most of my apps were gone, I could not access my harddrive, I couldn't troubleshoot errors and I couldn't download anything from the Internet.
