How do I set sort settings for individual folders?

Hi guys, I would like to sort the files in a particular folder by, say, date modified, but NOT have this setting applied to other folders in my computer. For example, I would want the files in the other folders to be sorted by name. However, I can't seem to be able to do this in Windows 8 - changing the sort settings for a particular folder applies it to every other folder. Is there a way...
