Complaints about Windows 8 appear to be mostly lack of knowledge
Yes, I like to try something new/better/different. I installed the CP/M mod in my TRS 80 Model III to see what it was all about. Turns out it added lots of capabilities. It wasn't very nice to have to reinitialize the floppy drives every time you changed a disk. Pop up windows not getting focus
This is quite annoying me for a long time, things like confirmation dialog box, file copy Window do not get in front most of the times, either its focus is lost or it pops up behind the current Window. The only way to see those boxes is to click them separately in task bar.
I think many of us should hav this problem, hope I put up the problem with right words;)

Hello,
New to Windows 8, just installed it today & have made it genuine with use of a patch.
Very confused as when you go into Settings/Change PC Settings/Personalize the screen is greyed out & cannot use any of the screen.

Desperate to avoid using the many quite difficult shutdown options in W8, i tried an old trick i used to do on computers i wanted to shutdown from remote desktop. This Works like a charm i W8 too..

More (smaller?) Tiles for the Start Screen
Considering the high resolutions seen on moderate sized tablets I can understand why the limited number of tile rows (7 max) would make sense.
