Hello,
My mom has a 15" laptop and she likes to play games. Some of these games are old and start in full screen mode (easier for her to see it too). When she exits the game her icons are all moved around.
Is there any way to stop this from happening? Or any application/setting to "remember" icon positions and restore them?
(Note that the solution can not be "don't play in full screen...

PC Doesn't Boot. No Beep - No Display - CPU Fan spins
Hi everyone! I have a Asus P8H61-M LE, x2 2 GB RAM, and i5 Processor.
When I power on my pc, the cpu fan spins, the green mobo light is on, no beep, and no display on monitor.
when i eject the 2 ram and power on again, still no beep.

Zero brightness too easy in Windows 10
Hey, I just updated a Vulcan Excursion XB tablet to Windows 10.
In the battery icon, there's a brightness toggle that sets to 0, 25, 75, 100 percent.
The problem is that when it toggles to 0, the whole screen disappears!
It's really easy to hit this and the problem is, when it does happen, you can't see anything while the computer is still on!

HP Support Assistant update messes with my keyboard
I need help on figuring out how to undo an update from HP Support Assistant.
This update screws with just about all of my keys.

Solved Missing scheduled item
I am getting to something that I have known about, but have not found the time to look in to and resolve until today.
Even on Windows 7 machines this item appears. On my Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit machine I used AutoRuns and under scheduled tasks this item appears in pink.

white screen
several times every day the screen on my monitor starts to, I guess you would describe it as "to flutter", then goes white. not the whole screen, the toolbars and even the clock are still visible. I even tested the monitor on my xp computer and no problems at all. it's just the part of the screen, when it's hooked back up to the 8.1 pc, where i'm on line. could this be the software? or something...

Files lost during cut & paste from phone
I had cut and pasted video files from my phone to a new folder on my pc. I got an error message so clicked undo (twice). The files have gone from my phone but they are not on the pc either. Can anyone help me get them back??? I have tried Recuva. It restored .tmp files which I can't do anything with.

System backup prior to Windows 10
I have now decided after updating my Notebook (thank you all) that I will now update my desktop.
When I backup my system etc. to external hard drive using Macrium can I just back up the C:/ drive?
The D:/ is the recovery drive and although it has 12.9GB it has only a free space of just over 1.88GB and do I really need this as I am making a recovery drive externally?
