W8.1 Ent iso download needs 3rd party downloader !!!!

However when downloading the W8.1 Enterprise software from Ms you need some stupid "net downloader".
Why can't I just get the link and download the .iso -- I HATE all these 3rd party "Helper" programs --who knows what other data these things collect / send to Ms or other people.

Scheduled task didn't run
I should have had an automatic system restore backup today (It's been 7 days since the last system backup).
It didn't happen, so I checked the Task Scheduler, and I see that System Restore task last ran yesterday morning at 8:46.

Cannot open 'run' prompt as administrator Windows 8
When I right click on run and select open as administrator, I get the following error: file:////C:/users/pc/appdata/roaming/microsoft/windows/start menu/programs/system tools/run.lnk The parameter is incorrect.

My brother installed an update on his windows 8 laptop this morning. After doing so, all his apps/programs and everything were gone. It was just a blank start up page and blank desktop (except google chrome for some reason.) I tried a system restore twice, and a scan to see if that would fix it. W8.1 (Enterprise) andf IE11 -- jerky scroll on websites.

strange behaviour on IE11 with Win 8.1 (Enterprise preview). On scrolling where there is a right scroll bar - i.e up and down on websites I get a jerky movement with a scrolling mouse.
